About You
You thrive on taking ownership of your work and have a passion for collaborating with others to deliver accurate and compliant payroll while building strong working relationships. You understand that payroll isn’t just numbers, it’s people’s pay, trust, and well-being.
You bring the following qualities and experience:
- You have proven experience delivering end-to-end payroll in a medium to large organisation
- You take pride in accuracy and consistency, with strong attention to detail
- You act with honesty and integrity, even when no one’s watching
- You’re accountable and dependable - you show up, own your work and follow through
- You remain calm under pressure and can manage competing priorities with a level head
- You’re a problem-solver, not a finger-pointer, and you work collaboratively, not defensively
- You’re a genuine team player who understands how payroll fits into the bigger picture
- You communicate clearly and respectfully, with patience and professionalism and enjoy human interaction, not just emails!!
- You’re committed to continuous improvement and staying current with payroll legislation and best practices
- You have a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role
- You have advanced computer literacy, particularly in Excel and Google Sheets (highly advantageous)
