About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Buyer or Category Manger to join our Product Team. This is a full-time, Brisbane-based role for someone ready to take ownership of one of our major categories and grow in Retail Category Management.

Key responsibilities

• Effective customer focused range selection.
• Determine and manage the most profitable pricing structure. 
• Manage promotional selections and pricing to drive sell-through.
• Maintain accurate product data.
• Collaborate with Marketing & Retail Leaders to drive success.
• Management and identification of aged & slow-moving inventory.
• Build and manage strong supplier relationships.

We are looking for:

• A driven and ambitious individual who is looking to learn and expand skills.
• 1+ years experience in Buying or Category Management.
• A demonstrable and proven track record of high achievements.
• An analytical mind and passion for solving problems.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal for the ability to deal directly with our store and supply network.
• Worked with ERP systems and Business Intelligence systems.
• Intermediate MS Excel skills.
