The Data Specialist is the owner of the organisation’s BI platform. This role is the bridge between business users, external BI vendors, and the technology team to ensure reporting and data insights meet the needs of the company. The role requires a strong understanding of databases and business data, with the ability to translate business requirements into clear instructions for external developers, and to provide high-quality insights back to the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the company’s BI platform, including administration, data integrations, and reporting dashboards.
• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and transformations to ensure high-quality, reliable data.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to build dashboards and reports that improve insights.
• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance standards are met.
• Act as a subject-matter expert for data analysis tools.

Salary range between $80k to $100k plus superannuation (depending on prior experience and potential)
