Advance Traders, a leading wholesaler in the cycling industry is looking to hire an efficent customer service team member to help drive us forward. Advance Traders is looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Internal Sales and Operations Team at our Head Office in Bowen Hills, Brisbane. As a key player in our team, you’ll be responsible for fostering positive relationships with bicycle shop dealers and providing them with the best solutions. You will be the first point of contact for sales inquiries from the stores and also a key link to the 7 sales representives around the country.  This is a perfect opportunity for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound sales calls, focusing on solutions-driven service to resolve customer needs efficiently.
  • Build and nurture long-lasting relationships with both new and existing customers, reflecting our commitment to valuing and supporting our business partnerships.
  • Work within a team environment to achieve business targets, promoting the best value and variety that we offer across multiple globally recognised brands.
  • Manage administrative and sales tasks efficiently, supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the business.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the company by ensuring that our partners and customers have the best possible experience and outcome.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 1-3 years of internal phone sales experience.
  • Experience with or knowledge of bicycles highly desired but not essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional, self-driven approach with a strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • NetSuite system knowledge is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office / Google Suite. Excel / Sheets.
